CEDO 555 - Bringing it all together
I am excited to start this process of finally putting everything together and working towards finishing the program. I am a little nervous that I don't have the proper artifacts needed to complete my portfolio. I wish I would have known what the end goal was throughout the whole program to make sure that I was creating and collecting the right kind of artifacts. I am afraid I am going to be creating new artifacts in order to complete my portfolio. I am excited to go through and reexamine the work that I did at the beginning of this cohort in order to see how far I have come since the beginning. I just hope these portfolio comes together smoothly!!

Kristy, I think you were the only one who used the word "excited" in reference to this whole portfolio thing. I guess that's good and won't discount your feelings. I won't use the word excited but rather "determined" in reference to mine. For many classmates I think this portfolio is just "something they have to do" for the program. They have their job and perhaps through their expertise, may advance in position within the same school or district as time goes on. I on the other hand and "determined" because I am hoping that my portfolio will actually aid me at getting a new position at a new school/district in the near future. That's why I am actually spending a lot of time on mine and trying to make it look like I know something.
